Al was born in Uganda and moved to Sydney as a boy. He has been a Christian all his life. He is married to Ruth, and they have three teenaged children. He has been senior minister at St James since 2012.

Prashanth is married to Emily and they have a daughter called Harriet. Before working at St James Prashanth was a litigation lawyer for 5 years. Prashanth has been at St James as Assistant Minister since January 2013.

Assistant Minister - Growing Believers

Caroline grew up at Maroubra and has been serving for the last 18 years with the Sydney University Evangelical Union. She loves the beach, her nephews and nieces and great books. Caroline also loves seeing people grow in their love and confidence in the Lord Jesus.

Steve has just finished his study at Moore Theological College, where he’s been learning about God’s work of salvation in Jesus Christ. He loves Jesus, loves the Inner West, and loves sharing the gospel with young people. Steve is married to Miriam and they live in Hurlstone Park.

Alison is passionate about teaching the gospel to children and seeing them grow in their relationship with Christ. She has previously worked at Blakehurst, Padstow and South Hurstville parishes.. Alison enjoys reading, walks on the beach, spending time with family and friends and especially her little nieces Sophie and Lila.

Beth has been attending St James for four years after moving into the area with her husband, James. She has a background in graphic design and communications previously working at Anglican Youthworks in their media department before starting at St James in 2015.
